Remember the Friends of the Library meets the 2nd Tuesday of each month, 7 pm, in the yellow building. Come see us in action! We will be looking for new members for the FOL Board in June.
Earth Day. We will be celebrating Earth Day, April 21st, again this year. We’ll have a table in Chestertown market and give away some books. Fortunately, Earth Day will be right in the middle of our Spring Book Sale.
Author Day, May 11th. Our annual speaker this year will be Kate Clifford Larson who wrote the definitive biography of Harriet Tubman, Bound for the Promise Land. Time to finish it if we start reading soon.
