Used Book Sale
Thanks everyone for a wonderfully successful Book Sale! The quality of books and the number of people involved in the sale were truly terrific! Special thanks go to Wanda Sheriff for her dedicated organization of the books and Christine Showalter for recruiting sale volunteers. Over 50 volunteers were involved in helping this book sale be successful. Quite a community event!
Most of the books donated for the sale were sold. The left overs were dispersed throughout our community–the Detention Center, the Food Pantry, the Methodist Youth Group in Rock Hall, Camp Right on Kent Island, the Crumpton Community Center and local nursing homes–and to other under-served parts of the US through Discover Books. We start anew after each sale, and all of our books go to people. We figure we handle 20,000-30,000 books each year. Thanks so much for your contributions!
Donations for the Fall 2017 book sale will be accepted after May 15th.

Please make your donations at least two weeks before the next Book Sale. For the May Book Sale that means that all donations need to be received by April 15th.
